Your Rights and Responsibilties as a Shipper

As the Shipper, there are certain Rights and Responsibilities you may be unaware of. I want to take a moment of my time to inform you about them. Your local mover gives you this booklet to provide information about your rights and responsibilities as an individual shipper of your household goods. Your primary responsibility is to select a reputable local mover, ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of the contract, and understand and pursue the remedies that are available to you in case problems arise. You should talk to your local mover if you have further questions.

In the pamphlet you will find information on:
-Service Options Provided
-Estimating Charges
-Pick up, Transportation, and Delivery of your shipment
-Collection of Charges
-Resolving Issues with your move

All of which and more you can find information on, in "Your Rights and Responsibilities" when moving booklet.
